Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs)

Avanti has drafted EAs and EISs for NOAA, EPA, and BOEM covering one-time, site-specific activities to complex, national-scale general permits covering an entire industry. Examples of recent projects are provided below.

NEPA Support for the Office for Coastal Management, NOAA

OCM engages in a wide range of activities that have the potential to impact the environment, including conducting, funding, or contracting for: scientific research and monitoring, small scale coastal construction and restoration, surveying and data collection, debris removal, planning activities, and public engagement and outreach efforts. These activities can be conducted by NOAA or funded by OCM in support of Coastal Zone Management Programs, the National Estuarine Research Reserve System, Coral Reef Conservation Program, or other efforts.
